The last two sea jewels that joined the MSC Cruises fleet are MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendidaboth buid by Aker Yards France. These are the largest ships built by a European ship owner and represented an investment of over 1 billion euros. Each is 133,500 grt, 333 metres long and 38 metres wide. The two ships accommodate 3,959 passengers and 1,325 crew each. Finally MSC Magnifica will join the fleet in 2010. Today MSC Cruises has a fleet of 10 cruise liners, by 2010 the fleet will increase to 11 ships! |
