What Are People Saying About MSC Cruises

There’s a quote that goes ’praise, like sunlight, helps all things to grow’ and there’s plenty of growth going on at MSC Cruises right now.

Aside from launching our first ever around-the-world voyages in 2019 and 2020, we’re also adding 11 new ships to our fleet between 2017 and 2026 - some of which will be our largest and most spectacular vessels yet.
This unprecedented level of expansion isn’t accidental or some lucky coincidence - it’s the result of delivering memorable holidays and life-defining experiences to millions of guests for decades.

It’s alright for us to say how good we are, but what have the very people on our ships been saying about us? Read about their MSC Reviews below.

“Feel like a million dollars”

Over at CruiseCritic.co.uk, experienced cruiser Susara Cronje was overwhelmed by how ‘very helpful and friendly’ ground crew helped make her ‘feel like a million dollars from the start’.
This set the tone for the rest of Susara’s time with MSC Cruises. ‘Every single one of the staff were great,’ she added. ‘All the waiters were so good. Andrew was our waiter and what a lovely soul. He served us with kindness.’
Susara went on to praise the live shows and dream team as ‘great’ before remarking on the range of food available. So it wasn’t surprising that Susara rated her holiday with MSC Cruises a maximum five stars.

"Really happy"

Unfortunately, MSC Cruises has no influence over the weather (we’d choose warm, clear and sunny by default given the option) and on rare occasions, that means certain dock calls aren’t possible due to safety concerns.
One CruiseCritic.co.uk user - known only as ‘asoj’ - admitted they felt frustrated when bad weather meant a stop-off at Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, had to be cancelled.
However, conditions calmed as time drew closer to the port and the Nassau call managed to go ahead. Either way, asoj was ‘really happy that MSC chose security of the passengers’ and further comments suggest this guest was more than happy to stay on the fresh and spacious ship anyway.
‘The ship was great, clean, new,’ they wrote. ‘There were many nice lounges, bars, areas and outside decks and we never felt like there was 5,000 people aboard. [We] never had trouble to find a place to sit.’

Let’s celebrate

A cruise can be a time to celebrate too, which is exactly why CruiseCritic reviewer Carolyn Matschke took herself and seven others out to sea to mark her daughter’s 40th birthday.
‘We had a wonderful time and the entertainment crew were absolutely brilliant,’ she wrote. ‘Everyone wants to go again. The food was amazing. The shows brilliant.’

Surprisingly affordable

Looking for a spring break trip, 22-year old Sportsfanfolyfe headed out on MSC Seaside and couldn’t believe how good their rate was.
‘The price was ridiculously cheap, I thought it was too good to be true,’ they wrote, and they felt they got a lot of bang for their buck.
They added: ‘The ship is massive. There are so many things to do but the first was to go up to the top deck and take pictures of the sunset with the Miami skyline. Then we went over to the deck 16 infinity bridge, wow, just wow.’
Going on, this glowing review noted how their steward was ‘phenomenal’ and made them feel like ‘five-star guests’ the whole time with their servers delivering ‘anything we wanted on the menu and in any order or combination’.
The review concluded: ‘I never really write reviews, but I had such a great time that I want to share my experience. I had an amazing time.’
