How will I receive my Future Cruise Credit or Onboard Credit after my cruise?
If you were granted a Future Cruise Credit or an Onboard Credit Letter during your cruise as a goodwill gesture, a certificate specifying the exact value of your credit will be issued. You will receive this certificate within three weeks after the end of your cruise.
What are the terms and conditions of my credit?
FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT
Your Future Cruise Credit can be applied exclusively to the cruise fare of a future MSC cruise. It cannot be used to cover taxes, port charges, or any prepaid packages. This credit has no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred to another person.
- The credit is valid for one year from the issue date shown on your certificate.
- It must be used in the same currency as your original booking.
- If your new cruise costs less than the credit amount, any remaining balance can be applied to a future booking, provided it is confirmed within the validity period.
ONBOARD CREDIT
Your Onboard Credit is provided as credit for use on a future sailing but cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another guest, or refunded.
- It is valid for two years from the issue date shown on your certificate.
- It can be used for onboard purchases during your next cruise.

The terms and conditions outlined above represent our standard policy; however, in certain cases, specific conditions may apply. If applicable, these will be clearly stated in the certificate you received.
How do I redeem my Future Cruise Credit or Onboard Credit?
To ensure your credit is properly applied when booking your next MSC cruise:
- If you are booking through a Travel Agent, show them your certificate at the time of reservation.
- If you are booking directly with MSC Cruises, please reach out to our Contact Centre team and provide your certificate to ensure the credit is applied to your reservation.
