Understanding Our Data: Our reported median hourly pay gap of 23.9% demonstrates our ongoing commitment to equitable pay across our broader workforce. Our mean hourly pay gap of 36.4% reflects structural vertical segregation within the global maritime industry – specifically, the historical concentration of men in highly specialized, senior technical roles – rather than an equal pay disparity. Furthermore, our reported bonus gap is an artifact of the strict statutory 12-month reporting window; due to our specific bonus cycle, several significant female incentive payments fell just outside the mandatory snapshot period and will be captured in future disclosures.
