1. Purpose of the Guarantee
If you find the same MSC Cruises S.A. offer publicly available at a lower price within 48 hours of booking your MSC Cruises reservation via our website or contact center, MSC Cruises may, at its sole discretion, provide a commercial adjustment to your reservation having regard to the lower price found.
This adjustment may be provided, for example, in the form of Shipboard Credit (SBC) or an Upgrade, without limitation to other forms
2. How It Works
1 – Obtain an MSC Cruises Option: you have booked and confirmed your preferred cruise directly with us via our website or Contact Center.
2 – Find a Lower Public Price: if, within the 48 hours following your booking confirmation, you find a publicly accessible price for the same cruise, cabin type, and booking conditions offered by an authorized distributor, you may request a booking match adjustment.
3 – Submit Your Request: submit your request at the MSC Cruises Contact Center. To allow verification, you must provide your MSC Cruises reservation number and clear verifiable, publicly accessible proof of the lower price exclusively in the form of a PDF of a written booking quotation. MSC Cruises does not require the identification of the distributor or salesperson offering the lower price.
4 – Verification and Adjustment: once the MSC Cruises Contact Center verifies that the publicly available offer matches the conditions of your booking, MSC Cruises may decide to apply the remedy.
3. Conditions for Applying the Best Value Guarantee
To qualify, all of the following conditions must be met:
• The compared offer must be publicly available to any consumer at the time of verification and available for booking in the same country where the original reservation was confirmed.
• The offer must match the same cruise, including identical ship, departure date, same cabin type, experience level, promotion details and the same included services or extras as your reservation.
• The request must be submitted within 48 hours following your reservation confirmation
• The name on the request must match the name on the MSC reservation.
• Each request applies to one booking only and each booking is eligible for only one booking adjustment.
4. Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply to:
• Prices that are not publicly accessible, including group rates, corporate rates, community or membership rates, exclusive partner offers, negotiated fares, B2B reservations, group bookings, or MSC Voyagers Club discounts.
• Fly & Cruise packages or prices that include land programs or transport packages not offered by MSC Cruises.
• Offers that differ in included services (e.g., drinks packages) unless the services are identical to those in your MSC option.
5. Additional provisions
• No additional discounts or promotional reductions can be applied to the adjusted reservation fare.
• MSC Cruises may, at its sole discretion, decide whether to match a price.
• The onboard experience associated with the reservation remains as originally purchased, regardless of any cabin upgrade granted under this policy.
• Information provided under this guarantee will be used solely to verify eligibility and not for monitoring or influencing distributor pricing practices.
• MSC Cruises reserves the right to determine how the value of the cruise is adjusted at any time without prior notice.
